What about distance in discret world

Posted at 2018-08-19 thinking  Measure

According to the quantunm description of microworld, the time and space are discret, while Manhattan distance may represente it. However, I found that we measure the world in continue method, such as Euclidean distance! In other wolds, the ruler has infinite accuracy. I confused in the measurement in time and space mostly. Another problem is how we align a ruler to objective. Detailing, how to find the objective edge in the view of ruler? Now and in the fucture, I wonder how we produce a measurement and how the discret distance(Manhattan Distance) transform to continue distance(Euclidean).
